Mundane Magic
I’m leaving for a trip in a couple days, so this week’s blog and newsletter is fun ~slideshow~ of some recent magical things. Enjoy!
Starting strong with Tulip the rabbit napping adorably under my floor desk! I ordered my floor chair and desk in order to sit near her, but she quickly adopted them as her bed and burrow.
The Hobbit Free Library in Cary, North Carolina, discovered during a date with my partner. I took home a book promisingly entitled The PMS Outlaws that I look forward to reading at the river this summer.
When I had a bunch of big life shifts happen during the same week, mainly in the form of personal chapters closing, I did a ritual around closing them and opening to new chapters.
It was a fire ritual, my go-to kind.
This week I was lucky enough to have some pick-your-own herb time at In Good Heart Farm, where I have a farm share. If you live in the Raleigh - Durham - Pittsboro area of NC, I recommend having a farm share (also called a CSA) with them with all my heart.
Here I am very happily ensconced in the chamomile patch.
See you when I’m back!

P.S. My Patreon has some great tools for supporting you in the early summer! You can find meditations and Tarot readings relevant to early June in my most recent posts, as well as info on how to celebrate the seasons as a modern-day witch. The next new post will go up on the summer solstice.

My intention this week :
Grow my capacity to manage my travel anxiety.
Question(s) I'm asking this week:
What worries are merited? Which are unrealistic? How can I show the data to my brain to support it in releasing worries?
What I’m listening to:
My travels this week will take me to Miles of Music, a wonderful music camp for all ages in New Hampshire. I’m listening to this playlist of music by the instructors for this year!
Tiny Spell of the Week:
Notice how life is so much bigger than work.
