ABOUT ME
Hi! My name is Isabel, and I am a writer, channel, coach, tarot reader, ritualist, and artist (novels, music, and drawings, mainly).
My work revolves around discovering the parts of myself and others that want to be heard, but which might be difficult to tease out.
I strive to be warm, direct, and honest, which helps me guide others to empower themselves through truth, play, and self-regard.
I believe that to be in true conversation with each other and the universe, we have to collectively work to heal ourselves, shift oppressive systems, and reconnect with the magical planet we call home. My work is anticapitalist and feminist in its most intersectional meaning.

8 years of developing my own spellwork and ritual practice
Reiki 2 training
MFA in fiction writing from NC State University*
6 years as a writing workshop leader / 1-1 writing coach
4 years experience as a life coach
A big old portion of my brain dedicated to fairytales, folktales, and myths
A close relationship with my garden and the woods in my area
Coursework and experience working with IFS therapy (though I am not a licensed therapist)
A lifetime of being a hypersensitive, queer witch
I completed my MFA in 2020. I and have written two novels and several short stories (see my publications inThe Metaworker andPastel Pastoral Magazine). I offer rigorous and compassionate craft coaching in this particular medium, and specialize in helping people write their first novels. Email me if you’re interested!
